  • " My daughter has been in the Ready Education after-school program for half a year now, and it has been the best part of her everyday life since then. Hearing her share all her fun stories from her classes and friends in the afterschool program make me believe that this is truly the best decision I’ve made. Ready Education is far beyond just an afterschool. Each week it offers a different activity schedule that involves cooking time, free playing time, game time, homework time, and etc. There are many fun, interesting classes, such as music, Chinese, art, science, cooking, etc. Kids are able to learn and explore many new topics through the fun classes. The teachers are the best part of the program. Miss Yang is very experienced in teaching and is very observant and patient when it comes to interacting with the kids. She uses her professional knowledge to create effective teaching methods for the students, while also building great communication with the parents. Besides Miss Yang, all the other teachers are very passionate and patient with the students as well. In addition, Ready Education offers a carpool service, which is really considerate for parents like me who have full-time jobs. The program’s schedule depends on the Oak Park schools’ class schedules, and it prioritizes parents’ availability and busy schedule when it comes to holidays. "

  • " Highly recommend this after school program located in Mae Boyar park next to Brookside Elementary school. My 5yr old son has been going there for 4 months and he loves going every single day. The staff is super experienced, kind and fun with various age of the kids. The staff and kids ratio is amazingly low, which enables them to spend much attention to each individual kid and provide personalized guidance. They have very structured daily schedule and provide a variety of fun activities to stimulate kids’ coordination and life skills, just name a few, T-shirt tie-dye, pizza making, banana bread making, dumpling making, Chinese calligraphy, carving pumpkins, cookie decorating, they also made a field trip to the fire station where the kids had a blast! My son truly enjoys everything he’s exposed to at Early Education center, and he plays and gets along with all the older kids at the center. It’s so much more than an after school care, my son learned a great deal of diversified cultures, languages and being kind and sharing with friends. Hands down to the center Director Ms. Yang for her enthusiasm, decades experience in early education, passion and dedication to the kids whom she treat just as her own kids! Thank you for being such an amazing resource in our Oak Park community! "

  • " When Ready Education After School Program was first open in August of 2022 by Brookside Elementary, I signed up for my first grader right away because I share Principal Yang’s philosophy of nurturing the wholesome child through project-based activities and team work. Of course, learning Chinese in a fun way is also a huge plus. Three months into the program, I have noticed so many positive changes in Luke. He starts speaking a lot more Chinese to me, he is more confident performing and presenting, he is more independent and focused, and he is much happier than when he was in the Club of Oak Park. The small class size and mixed ages at Ready Education allowed him to get much more individual attention from teachers and to learn from older classmates. I want to cordially thank the teachers and staff especially Principal Yang at Ready Education for their dedication to the kids. "

  • " Ready Education is one of the most caring after-schools I’ve ever seen. So many activities are offered for the kids every day, including cooking, science, art, handicrafts, etc. All the activities involve teamwork, so my kid is able to make friends quickly and soon starts looking forward to the afterschool program every day! The classes offered in Ready Education not only teach knowledge but also focus on hands-on practices. The teachers are really patient and understanding, and pay a lot of attention to each children’s personality and hobbies, always encouraging and supporting the children along the way.   • " My son joined Ready Education after school program when he started first grade. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful program for him to learn Chinese language and culture, and make friends, and have fun! The program director Miss Yang and her team are so dedicated to the program, they not only provide a great learning environment for the kids but also educate the parents! I am busy with work, but Miss Yang always keep me posted about my son’s progress and whatever I need to know about him. My son never spoke Chinese to me before he joined the program, now I hear him speaking Chinese words more and more often, he even can count in Chinese.
